HIGH-RATE STORMWATER CLARIFICATION WITH POLYMERIC FLOCCULANT ADDITION

Stormwater treatment. A pilot plant (lamellar clarification with cationic polymer flocculent addition) was used to remove pollutant from stormwater. A removal of 77% for total suspended solid at surface load up to 43 m/h. Heavy metals were found in sludge requiring a special disposal.
