HIGH-RATE ANAEROBIC HYDROLYSIS AND ACIDOGENESIS OF SEWAGE SLUDGE IN A MODIFIED UPFLOW REACTOR
This study was conducted to investigate the effect of hydraulic retention time and pH on the acidogeneis of sewage sludge in a modified reactor. Compared with a continuously stirred tank reactor, thus modified upflow reactor was shown to be more promising biosystem for the hydrolysis and acidogenesis of sewage sludge.
