A GENERAL MODEL OF THE ACTIVATED SLUDGE REACTOR WITH DISPERSIVE FLOW - I. MODEL DEVELOPMENT AND PARAMETER ESTIMATION. II. MODEL VERIFICATION AND APPLICATION
New integrated activated sludge model, developed on ASM1 basis, witch specificity is to take into account hydraulic patterns by using a dispersive flow model.
The first part of the article describe the model and how main parameters (mainly dispersion coefficient and KLa) estimations were constructed. The second part deals with the validation of the model prediction with experimental data (Rock Creek WWTP, Oregon, USA) during both steady state and dynamic conditions.
