FORWARD AND BACKWARD UNCERTAINTY PROPAGATION : AN OXIDATION DITCH MODELLING EXAMPLE

Backward Uncertainty Propagation (B.U.P) is illustrated by working example for an oxidation ditch wastewater treatment plant. B.U.P is a parameter estimation error quantification from given experimental data. This method gives informations for further modelling designing model-based experimental or monitoring programmes and tightening of parameters intervals.
