FLOOD RISK ANALYSIS : CONCEPTS AND CHALLENGES

Framework for a better evaluation of flood risk. This paper presents severe shortcomings on flood risk analyses currently in use: identification and description of all damage scenarios, quantification of the probabilities of scenarios and analyse of the impacts of flooding on people, infrastructure, and environment. With this information risks assessment can be done in better conditions.
