FINITE FOURIER PROBABILITY DISTRIBUTION AND APPLICATIONS
Description of data collected from processes that are diffusion drivers in addition to data sets in which the range of the random variable has a fixed lower or upper bound or both. Example of the chemical equilibrium relationships as water hardness and solubility. Solution of a 1 D diffusion equation. That is adapted as a probability distribution function referred to as the finite Fourier distribution. Application to water quality with the Kolmogorov. Smirnov test to compare the two distributions of hardness and sulfate concentrations of a river. (2001/12/13)
