FERRATE(VI) OXIDATION OF CYANIDE IN WATER

Cyanide oxidation by Fe(VI). Free and complexed cyanide oxidation by Ferrate at high pH or Ferrate produced during coagulation by Fe(OH)3 was studied. The results are discussed following the cyanide complexes. The behaviour of theses complexes was reported different in term of oxidation rapidity as a function of cation involved in the cyanide.
