EUROPEAN RESEARCH INTO SEWER SEDIMENTS AND ASSOCIATED POLLUTANTS AND PROCESSES

This study describes the recent developments in the understanding of sewer solids and associated processes. Research has characterised the nature of the solids getting into sewer systems, how they behave in terms of transport, and some of the main aspects of their effects. But other phenomena remain to be understood in order to improve sewer systems management.
