ENZYME PRODUCTION ACTIVITY OF "PHANEROCHAETE CHRYSOSPORIUM" AND DEGRADATION OF PENTACHLOROPHENOL IN A BIOREACTOR

Phenols degradation and enzyme production. In a batch reactor packed with a biocarriers, lignin peroxydase, produced by a white rot fungus, Phanerochaete chrysosporium, was investigated in the degradation of pentachlorophenol. This system seems to be promising in hazardous wastewater treatments.
