EFFECT OF PH ON SORPTION AND TRANSPORT OF FLUOROBENZOIC ACID GROUND WATER TRACERS

Results on laboratory batch tests and columns transport studies for a chemical tracer: the fluorobenzoic acid. Two FBA column transport studies were carried out under acidic and neutral conditions. Results of sorption isotherms under acidic conditions are obtained on weathered shale. Aquatic toxicity of four FBA isomers were examined. Influence of soil organic matter is tested during sorption phase.
