ECONOMIC ANALYSIS IN THE SHANNON PILOT RIVER BASIN PROJECT

This small-scale study reviewed, using the Economics and the Environment Guidance Documents (EEGD) with data collated from the Shannon PRB and key stakeholders, the following key issues – analysis of these issues is required to fulfil obligations under Article 5 due in December 2004: - Assessment of Economic Significance of Water Uses; - Projection of Trends in Key Indicators and Drivers up to 2015; - Assessment of Current Cost Recovery.
