A DUAL-POROSITY MODEL FOR NITROGEN LEACHING FROM A WATERSHED

Using of model for nitrogen leaching (MASONW based on the MACRO and SOILN models) to determinate the impact of management alternatives on river water quality. This paper presents modelling of water fluxes and nitrogen fate to the medium watershed scale. The study area is the watershed of the river Odense in Denmark. Results provided a high efficiency for simulating water flow and nitrate concentrations.
