DISTRIBUTED-PARAMETER LARGE BASIN RUNOFF MODEL. II: APPLICATION
Utilisation of a derived distributed-parameter large basin runoff model to the Kalamazoo River watershed in southwest Michigan. Description of the digitization of the watershed into a network of cells through which watershed internal flows are routed. Presentation of the technology to create grids of topography, soils, land use, and vegetation data. Investigation of alternative evapotranspiration schemes, spatial parameter patterns, solar isolation interpretations, and temporal scaling were also included and compared to model results.
