DETECTION, INTEGRATION AND PERSISTENCE OF AEROMONADS IN WATER DISTRIBUTION PIPE BIOFILMS

Assessment of aeromonas growth and accumulation in biofilm of distribution pipe systems – Assays were performed with stainsless steel, unplastized PVC, and glass substrate in potable water and recyclable water systems – Identification of pathogens with PCR and FISH methods – Persistence of Aeromonas hydrophila is highlighted in the different biofilms.
