The specific objectives of the research were to: - estimate the concentration of indigenous C. parvum in the secondary effluent of activated-sludge processes using a MPN-PCR-based assay. - evaluate the relative extent of the association of indigenous C. parvum with particles in the secondary effluent of activated sludge processes.
