DESORPTIVE BEHAVIOR OF PENTACHLOROPHENOL (PCP) AND PHENANTHRENE IN SOIL-WATER SYSTEMS
Development for investigation of the extent and patterns of pcp and phenantrene desorption from five different soil types for controling desorption behavior.establishment of isotherms in the laboratory.materials and methods are described. results are presented according to the behavior observed at time of desorption.desorption constant of the mobile contaminant fraction are given. discussion on non-hysteretic sorption and completely sorption strongly irreversible on podzolic soils.physico chemical characteristics of the soils and equilibrium adsorption constant explain respective desorptive behavior.
