Analysis of the low-flow gauges and low rain data records in Germany (rivers Elbe, Weser, Rhine, Danube and Oder) from April 2003 until March 2004 recorded after an extremely abundant previous year. Comparison with the previous 50 years period. Owing to a reduced storage capacity and groundwater surface waters, Germany might have risks of another low flow extremes in the near future.
