Control of industrial discharges to the public sewerage system
Industrial effluents have a decisive influence on the treatment process of waste water in municipal sewage effluent treatment plants. As a rule waste water is treated here, drained by united sewerage, consist of municipal and industrial effluents, as well as from the pluvial water. The provision of the optimal technological process is only possible by the quality and volume control of industrial effluents. This article deals with the whoie problem of discharge and the treatment of these waters, their influence on the sewerage system and consequences of exceeding given limits and not respecting competent standards. The measurement of discharged water presents a peculiar problem, of increasing importance as the price of emitting effluent.
