CONTINUOUS ELECTROCHEMICAL TREATMENT OF PHENOLIC WASTEWATER IN A TUBULAR REACTOR

Electrochemical treatment of phenols. A continuous tubular reactor is used to remove electrochemically phenols present in a wastewater. The performances of the system are studied as a function of the residence time raging 10 min to 3 hours. The removal efficiency is between 56 and 98 % for a phenol feed close to 450 mg/L.
