CONSTRUCTED WETLAND TECHNOLOGY TRANSFER TO NEPAL
Constructed wetland in Nepal. Hospital wastewater (20 m3/d) was treated using a wetland. BOD, COD, Nitrogen and Phosphate were removed with efficiencies ranging between 69 and 99 %. Total coliforms removal performances were about 99.999 %. This demonstration allows to promote this technology in developing countries.
