COMBINING OPTIMIZES MODELS, ON-LINE SENSORS AND BOOSTER CHLORINATION TO MANAGE WATER QUALITY IN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS
Chlorination in a drinking water distribution system. The factor influencing the chlorine consumption in a water network are identified and classified. A model to predict chlorine disappearance is established. From this mathematical approach, a global optimization of the disinfection is discussed in term of water quality
