COMBINED ANAEROBIC-AEROBIC TREATMENT OF LANDFILL LEACHATES UNDER MESOPHILIC, SUBMESOPHILIC AND PSYCHROPHILIC CONDITIONS

Since the main concerns in landfill leachates are usually organic anfd nitrogenous contaminants as well as heavy metals, the primary objective of this paper was to develop an efficient lab scale technologiy for removal of these pollutants.
