COMBINATION OF MICROAUTORADIOGRAPHY AND FLUORESCENCE IN SITU HYBRIDIZATION FOR IDENTIFICATION OF MICROORGANISMS DEGRADING XENOBIOTIC CONTAMINANTS

The aim of this study is to examine the applicability of the technique for identifying the organisms involved in environmental contaminant degradation using a model system that was chosen on basis of the differentiability of the bacteria in the system and its environmental relevance.
