CALCULATION OF THE MEAN RESIDENCE TIME IN DISTRIBUTION SYSTEMS FROM TRACER STUDIES AND MODELS

Modelling the residence time in a water distribution networks. A mathematical model is proposed to model the water residence time in order to determine the disinfectant consumption and the by-product formation. An experimental tracer method used for reactor was used to generate data and to compare to calculated values.
