BIODEGRADATION DURING CONTAMINANT TRANSPORT IN POROUS MEDIA: 6. IMPACT OF SORPTION ON COUPLED DEGRADATION°TRANSPORT BEHAVIOR
Description of experiments with glass column filled by quartz sand and Eustic soil connected to a piston displacement pump. Breakthrough curves for pentafluorobenzoic acid , naphthalene, naphtol and salicylate transport in sterile soils and after inoculation by pseudomonas. Discussion on the differences in results : biomass, nutrients and residence time of the sorbing substrates and estimation of biodegradation mechanism.
