APPLICATION OF ULTRA LOW PRESSURE REVERSE OSMOSIS (ULPRO) MEMBRANE TO WATER AND WASTEWATER

Reverse osmosis. In order to reduce energy cost in the reverse osmosis technologies, a low-pressure (classified in fact as nanofiltration) system was proposed. New membrane was produced and operating conditions allow to reduce pressure. A good stability of flux was obtained. Applications were developed in water and wastewater treatments.
