APPLICATION OF ENHANCED ANNEALING TO GROUND WATER REMEDIATION DESIGN
Development an optimization method that identifies global or near-global optima by annealing modified by concept s of memory and directional search. Theorical prestation of simulated annealing with Markov chain , neighbor generation and convergence criteria. Definition of annealing-time parameters and flow chart of Tabu search. Acceptance function , individual decision variables and the excursion length are adjusted. Example application to contaminated ground water removal with model grid, boundary conditions and potential well locations. Average cost as a function of iteration number for enhanced annealing and simulating annealing.
