ANAEROBIC TREATMENT OF SLUDGE : FOCUSING ON REDUCTION OF LAS CONCENTRATION IN SLUDGE
The transformation of linear alkylbenzene sulfonate(LAS) during anaerobic digestion of sewage sludges was operated in two laboratory scale reactors.
The anaerobic transformation of LAS by increasing the bioavailable part of the compound was examined.
Experimental methods and results are presented and discussed.
