ANAEROBIC SEWAGE TREATMENT IN A ONE-STAGE UASB REACTOR AND A COMBINED UASB-DIGESTER SYSTEM
A novel technology for treating sewage at low temperature, consisting of an integrated high loaded Upflow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket (UASB) reactor and digester. The results of these investigations reveal the high potential of the UASB-Digester system for treating sewage of 15°C as it couples wastewater treatment and sludge stabilisation.
