Estimation des biomasses de moules (Mytilus edulis L.) en élevage dans les bouchots du Pertuis Breton - Evolution entre 1988 et 1993

The biomass of the cultivated mussels has been estimated every year in the Pertuis Breton dulring the period 1988-1993. The method used is first recalled, then the question of the biomass trends during spring -i.e. during the sampling period- is discussed. Based on the results, it appears that the mussel volume starts decreasing in 1990 to reach a minimum in 1991. A slight increase is observed in 1992 but no further improvement in 1993. The factors possibly related to this evolution are finally discussed.
