TOWARDS SUSTAINABLE WATER MANAGEMENT IN SOUTHEAST ASIA : EXPERIENCES FROM INDONESIA AND MALAYSIA
Implementation of a system of water management. In front of increasing economic development of these two countries, conservation of the resources in waters becomes a major concern. Actually, it is noticed a deterioration of the quality and the quantity of water resources. Then, authorities have introduced policies and have selected different plans of intervention to protect these resources.
However, the population has not yet become aware of these environmental problems. A work remains to do to change the mentalities. A good quality analysis
