REVIEW OF FOLKLORE IN DESIGN AND OPERATION OF SECONDARY CLARIFIERS
Secondary clarifiers. 30 years ago, Dicks published a paper on folklore in the design of final settling tank. From this publication, a review of studies on design and operating conditions of clarifiers are presented in terms of mechanisms, operating conditions and technologies. Comparisons are given. Clarifier processes have evolved but new folklore has appeared.
